"Ang Pusa sa Tindahan"

The Cat at the Store

In the Philippines, you can find tons of "Sari-sari" stores everywhere. Oftentimes, their distances will not be too far from each other. In that way, it makes everything convenient for people who needs to buy necessities for a cheap price.

I could buy before the Filipino brand of chocolate, "Hany" for a peso and have this much:

But now, they lessen the quantity and make it shorter and produced a bigger shape that would cost 2.50 pesos. Like this:

Anyway, being able to taste hany to many Filipinos can give such nostalgia and happiness. One day, I might come to buy a Hany to any Lolos and Lolas at the Sari-sari store with their cat at the porch and for awhile go back to my childhood.
